Wilderness First Aid will be 5-6 May at Camp Kanza.  This 16 hour training certification is required for all High Adventure activites in remote areas (more than 30 minutes from EMS response).  A member of each crew/patrol going to Philmont, Northern Tier, Sea Base and The Summit is required to have this certification. A current CPR/AED certification is a required pre-requisite and will be offered on Friday, 4 May at 6:30 pm.  Training is open to all registered adults and youth, 14 years and First Class (1st Aid merit badge is recommended for youth).  We have limited opportunities for this training in our Council so you won't want to miss it.Please call Lary Hill at 316-733-1946 or email lmhill47@gmail.com with questions. 

The Kansas Humane Society can help Boy Scouts earn the following Merit badges; Pet Care, Dogs & Vererinary Medicine by working with their in-house BSA Merit Badge Counselor.
